Julia Hoffmeier

Julia Hoffmeier is the Corporate Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Energy Fuels. She is responsible for managing a wide array of transactional matters and administering legal guidance on day-to-day operations, in addition to providing support in complex merger and acquisition transactions, litigation and regulatory affairs.

Ms. Hoffmeier previously managed the Pre-Award Grants and Contracts Program for the Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension at the University of Colorado Denver, focusing on medical research proposal submissions and regulatory compliance. She was appointed by the Denver City Council to serve on the Denver Board of Ethics, which she did for over three years. During her tenure, she served in a number of roles, including Vice-Chair and Chair. 

Ms. Hoffmeier earned her Bachelor of Arts with honors in music from Lewis and Clark College and her Juris Doctor from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, graduating with a Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resource Law. She is licensed to practice in both Colorado and Utah.

In her free time, Ms. Hoffmeier enjoys playing the violin, cooking with ingredients from her garden, hiking and exploring local farmers’ markets and restaurants with family and friends.
