2025 Q1 Financial Earnings Call Replay

Corporate

Energy Fuels is the leading, U.S. producer of uranium – the fuel for clean, affordable, emission-free nuclear energy – and an emerging world leader in rare earths and critical minerals.

Energy Fuels is a leading U.S. – based critical minerals company that produces:

  • natural uranium concentrates for U.S. nuclear energy;
  • rare earth  oxides for numerous advanced technologies;
  • titanium and zirconium bearing minerals for a variety of industrial applications;
  • vanadium for steel, advanced alloys, and grid-scale batteries; and
  • potentially medical isotopes for life-saving cancer treatments.

The company its assets and its processing capabilities represent a cruicial link in multiple, fully integrated U.S. critical mineral supply chains.

Uranium

Energy Fuels is the leading U.S. producer of natural uranium concentrates, or U3O8, the first step in creating fuel for carbon-free nuclear energy. The company owns and operates several conventional and in-situ recover uranium projects in the western U.S., as well as the White Mesa Mill in Utah, which is the largest uranium production facility in the U.S. and the only operating conventional uranium mill in the country.

Nuclear energy is expected to see strong growth in the coming years as nations work to provide reliable, zero-emission energy to meet growing needs for electricity to support the expansion of data centers, AI and other emerging energy demand.

Rare Earth Oxides

Using its unique expertise, facilities and permits at the White Mesa Mill, Energy Fuels is producing high-purity separated rare earth oxide, neodymium-praseodymium (NdPr) at commercial-scale from monazite, a low-cost mineral feedstock and a byproduct of heavy mineral sand mining.

The team is also piloting separations of the “heavy” rare earth elements, including samarium (SM), dysprosium (Dy), and terbium (Tb).

Rare earth oxides are used in a variety of energy, advanced, and defense technologies, including powerful magnets used in EVs and hybrid EVs, advanced robotics, wind energy, and several defense technologies.

Heavy Mineral Sands

Heavy mineral sand concentrates of rutile, ilmenite and zircon (minerals containing titanium and zirconium) are used in several industrial, defense, energy, and other technologies. As a part of Energy Fuels’ diversification into rare earths, the company has acquired several heavy mineral sand projects globally, which will provide the Mill with low-cost rare earth mineral feedstock (monazite), produced as a byproduct of primary ilmenite, rutile, and zircon production.

Energy Fuels will process the monazite at the White Mesa Mill into separated rare earth oxides, along with additional uranium for U.S. nuclear utilities.

Medical Isotopes

To address a global shortage of isotopes needed for Targeted Alpha Therapy (TAT), an emerging cancer treatment showing great promise in clinical trials, the company has begun laboratory-scale recovery of radium from existing mineral process streams at the Mill. Radium is a precursor to short half-life, alpha-emitting isotopes needed for TAT drugs.

Vanadium

Energy Fuels is the only primary producer of vanadium in the U.S. Many uranium mines near the Mill also contain high grades of V2O5. The Mill has a circuit able to recover V2O5 and the company holds large quantities of in-ground vanadium resources.

Worldwide Assets

White Mesa Mill: only operating conventional uranium mill in the U.S. and is also able to produce rare earth and vanadium oxides.
