Stephen P. Antony

President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Antony is the President & CEO of Energy Fuels, positions he has held since 2010.  He is also a Registered Professional Engineer in several western states. He is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Denver. Over the last 39 years, Mr. Antony has held increasingly senior positions in both the technical and managerial sectors of the mining business. He first entered the uranium business with Mobil Oil’s Mining and Mineral group in the mid 1980’s, during which time he developed the reclamation plan for Mobil’s El Mesquite ISR operation in south Texas. He joined Energy Fuels Nuclear, Inc. (“EFN”) in 1986 as the company was growing to become the largest U3O8 producer in the US, peaking at more than five million pounds of annual production. Mr. Antony served as director of Technical Services for EFN where he authored many of the feasibility studies for the expansion of EFN’s highly successful Breccia Pipe Mine projects in the Arizona Strip.  Mr. Antony later was Vice President of Business Development for Power Resources Inc. (“PRI”). He then consulted to Cameco Corp. on due diligence prior to their acquisition of PRI. Starting in 2005 and until his appointment as President and CEO, Mr. Antony served as Chief Operating Officer of Energy Fuels, responsible for the daily operations of the Corporation, including all aspects of uranium property exploration, ore production and mill processing.

Dan Zang

Daniel G. Zang

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Zang is Chief Financial Officer for Energy Fuels. He has many years of experience having served as Chief Financial Officer, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer with a number of public and private companies, including Controller and Treasurer of General Moly, Inc. and Vice President and Controller of Cyprus Copper Company, an operating division of Cyprus Minerals Company with annual revenues in excess of $1 billion. Prior to his coming to Energy Fuels, Mr. Zang served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Umami Sustainable Seafood Inc. in San Diego, California from 2012 to 2013, and Chief Financial Officer of Umami from 2010 to 2012. From 2009 to 2010, Mr. Zang was a Senior Finance and Accounting Professional based in Littleton, Colorado. From 2007 to 2009, Mr. Zang was Controller and Treasurer for General Moly Inc.  Mr. Zang has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois, Champaign, Urbana and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Harold Roberts

Harold R. Roberts

Executive Vice President of Conventional Operations

Mr. Roberts is Executive Vice President of Conventional Operations for Energy Fuels. Prior to joining Energy Fuels, he served as Executive Vice President – U.S. Operations for Denison Mines Corp. from 2006 to 2012. Prior to his employment with Denison, Mr. Roberts was the President of Energy Fuels Nuclear, Inc. (“EFN”).  Throughout his career Mr. Roberts has held various positions related to operations oversight, project development, and permitting of uranium mining operations. Mr. Roberts obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Montana State University in 1975, and is also a Registered Professional Engineer in several western states. Mr. Roberts is also a director and serves on the audit committee of Virginia Energy Resources Inc. (TSX.V: VUI).

Paul Goranson

Executive Vice President of ISR Operations

Mr. Goranson is the Executive Vice President of ISR Operations for Energy Fuels. Mr. Goranson has over twenty-eight years of mining, processing and regulatory experience in the uranium extraction industry that includes both conventional and in-situ recovery (“ISR”) mining, and he is a registered professional engineer. Prior to the acquisition by Energy Fuels of Uranerz Energy Corporation, Mr. Goranson served as President, Chief Operating Officer and Director for Uranerz, where he was responsible for operations of the Nichols Ranch ISR Uranium Project. In addition to those duties, he also managed uranium marketing, regulatory and government affairs, exploration, and land groups. Prior to joining Uranerz, Mr. Goranson served as President of Cameco Resources, where he led the operations at the Smith Ranch-Highland, Crow Butte and North Butte ISR uranium recovery facilities. Mr. Goranson also served as Vice President of Mesteña Uranium LLC, and he has served om senior positions with Rio Algom Mining, (a subsidiary of BHP Billiton), and Uranium Resource Inc. Mr. Goranson has a Bachelor of Science in Natural Gas Engineering from Texas A&I University, and he has a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

David Frydenlund

Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Mr. Frydenlund is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Energy Fuels. Mr. Frydenlund’s responsibilities include oversight of all legal matters relating to the Company’s activities. His expertise extends to NRC, EPA, State and Federal regulatory and environmental laws and regulations. From 1997 to 2012, Mr. Frydenlund was Vice President Regulatory Affairs, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Denison Mines Corp., and its predecessor International Uranium Corporation (“IUC”).  He also served as a director of IUC from 1997 to 2006 and Chief Financial Officer of IUC from 2000 to 2005. From 1996 to 1997, Mr. Frydenlund was Vice President of the Lundin Group of international public mining and oil and gas companies, and prior thereto was a partner with the Vancouver law firm of Ladner Downs (now Borden Ladner Gervais) where his practice focused on corporate, securities and international mining transactions law. Mr. Frydenlund holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Simon Fraser University, a master’s degree in economics and finance from the University of Chicago and a law degree from the University of Toronto.

Curtis Moore

Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Development

Mr. Moore is the Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Development for Energy Fuels Inc.  He is in charge of product marketing for Energy Fuels, and is closely involved in mergers & acquisitions, investor relations, public relations, and corporate legal. He has been with Energy Fuels for over seven years, holding various roles of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining Energy Fuels, Mr. Moore worked in multi-family real estate development, government relations and public affairs, production homebuilding, and private law practice. Mr. Moore is a licensed attorney in the State of Colorado.  He holds Juris Doctor and Masters in Business Administration degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a bachelor of arts dual degree in Economics-Government from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California.

Mark Chalmers

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Mr. Chalmers heads up the company’s conventional and in situ (“ISR”) uranium production operations. From 2011 to 2015, Mr. Chalmers served as Executive General Manager of Production for Paladin Energy Ltd., a uranium producer with assets in Australia and Africa, including the Langer Heinrich and Kayelekera mines, where he oversaw sustained, significant increases in production while reducing operating costs.  He also possesses extensive experience in ISR uranium production, including management of the Beverley Uranium Mine owned by General Atomics (Australia), and the Highland mine owned by Cameco Corporation (USA).  Mr. Chalmers has also consulted to several of the largest players in the uranium supply sector, including BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, and Marubeni, and currently serves as the Chair of the Australian Uranium Council, a position he has held since 2007.
